This is the Add-a-Motor "Butler" multi-channel "no-aim" RF remote control system. It is used to control Add-A-Motor 80 Drapery Controller , as well as table lamps and small appliances. It can control 4 motors individually, and an unlimited number of devices when set for group control. In addition to adding remote control to your window coverings, you can use the transmitter supplied with your Model 80 motor to control lamps and appliances. Purchase an additional Receiver 1310 for each device that you wish to control. Simply plug the Receiver into a wall outlet, switch your lamp or appliance On, then plug it into the Receiver outlet. With the remote control you can now switch the lamp or appliance On and Off from over 30-feet away. This system uses radio (RF) signals. The advantage is that you do not have to aim at the motor or lamp, even if it is located behind furniture. Simply press the transmitter button to switch the device On and Off. You can control up to four (4) devices individually, and many more in groups. There is no programming involved. Simply rotate the Receiver dial to match the desired Button of your transmitter (1, 2, 3, or 4). For group control, set all Receivers to the same number. When you have remote control applications in different rooms, you'll need a transmitter for each room. Each transmitter has a 'Room Select' dial to prevent unintentional control of devices in nearby rooms.
